The satellite galaxies defy again standard cosmology
The discovery of a disk of dwarf galaxies around Andromeda satellites already was a problem within the cosmological model based on the existence of dark matter. An international team led by astronomers at the Astronomical Observatory of Strasbourg (CNRS / Uuniversité Strasbourg) think I have confirmed that this phenomenon is widespread in the observable universe, making it even more acute conflict.
As this artist's concept shows the two brightest dwarf galaxies in orbit around large galaxies are part of a sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey have intriguing features. When they are on either side of these galaxies, their individual spectral shifts are opposite, so that one approaches us (blue) and the other moves away (red). We deduce that for a great many of them, these satellite galaxies orbiting in a disk around the large host galaxy, which is not consistent with the predictions of the standard model of cosmology. © Marie-Laure Debruyckere
In January 2013, http://enjoycoloring.com/ members of the Pandas (collaboration Pan-Andromeda Archaeological Survey ) have broken a small bomb in the world of cosmology in announcing the discovery of a disk of dwarf galaxies around the galaxy Andromeda.
